This Wednesday, our TSS Rovers FC men’s team travels to Starlight Stadium in Langford for our Quarter-Final match against Pacific FC in the Voyageurs Cup. We are 1 of the 8 remaining teams in this competition as our April 19 upset over Valour made news all across the country. Can we keep the roll going?

This is the second Canadian Premier League team we’ve faced on this remarkable journey. Pacific FC is no stranger to TSS Rovers. Since they have been in the league, former Rovers Zach Verhoven, Jordan Haynes and Matteo Polisi have all played there, with Jordan and Matteo winning the 2021 Canadian Premier League title with the team.
Pacific are sitting second in a very competitive CPL after a big win away in Ottawa on the weekend. They have brought in several key pieces for this season, including 6’6” striker Easton Ongaro who should provide a handful for our backline. That is a battle we’re looking forward to.
In the Preliminary round of the Voyageurs Cup, Pacific eliminated Cavalry FC on penalties.
Travelling support will be in attendance for this match. Join us for this historic game, and who knows what will happen! If you can’t make the match, the game will be broadcast on One Soccer and on the One Soccer channel on Fubo TV.

In League 1 BC action, it’s match week 3 for TSS Rovers as we play our third consecutive home match against League 1 BC newcomers Harbourside FC, from Nanaimo.

This week we welcome Harbourside FC to town. Harbourside played two matches in two days against Nautsa’mawt FC last weekend. On the men’s side, they drew 0-0 at Thunderbird Stadium and won 1-0 at home. On the women’s side, Nautsa’mawt absolutely cleaned their clocks with consecutive 7-1 and 8-0 victories.
The men’s division is tight in the early going with Harbourside currently sitting in first place despite a 1-0-2 record. Our slow start in the men’s division means that we sit only 4 points behind them, in 8th place. So a win significantly closes the gap with a game in hand.
On the women’s side, Harbourside occupies last place with 3 straight defeats to begin their season. We sit merely 1 point above them in 6th place. Rovers need points to catch the league leaders Nautsa’mawt and the Whitecaps, who both have perfect records to begin the season.
