At the heart of the Cygnets Training Camp lies the art of flag-waving, an essential skill for any Swanguardian. Under the tutelage of seasoned supporters, Cygnets will learn the rhythmic choreography of waving flags in unison, transforming the stands into a sea of vibrant colors that ignite team spirit and intimidate opponents alike.

But flag-waving is just the beginning. Cygnets will also undergo rigorous training in the finer arts of goal celebrations, including the exhilarating ritual of popping smoke after each triumphant goal. As the stadium erupts in a kaleidoscope of colors and cheers, these young fans will experience firsthand the electrifying energy of rallying behind their team, fueling the passion that courses through the veins of every true Swanguardian.

Adding another layer to the symphony of support at the Cygnets Training Camp is the rhythmic beat of music training. Here, young fans will discover the power of percussion as they learn to bang a pail-slash-drum in perfect rhythm, infusing the stadium with pulsating energy that echoes the heartbeat of every Swanguardian.

In addition to mastering the art of percussion, Cygnets will delve into the soul-stirring melodies of The Tragically Hip, exploring the depths of their iconic catalogue to find anthems that resonate with the spirit of TSS Rovers. Moreover, they’ll unleash their creativity by crafting Rovers-themed lyrics to obscure Canadian songs, transforming timeless tunes into passionate chants that reverberate throughout the stands, uniting fans in a chorus of unwavering support for their beloved team. With music as their guide, these young Cygnets will amplify the fervor of the Swanguardians, ensuring that the legacy of TSS Rovers lives on through the power of song and solidarity.

Camp happens every home match at the south end of Swangard behind the goal in the Pirate Cove. Come join us. Future Swanguardians should check with their parent/guardian first, who are also welcome to join. We have an adult version as well. We do try to keep it clean, but, it’s adults, and football. No promises. But all are welcome!
