We are The Swanguardians, the supporters standing behind the south goal, cheering you on, and giving our opposition a hard time.

This might be the first time you ever played in front of an active supporter group, and we recognize that it can be a little confusing. For most of your careers to this point, it’s unlikely that large groups of strange adults took an interest in your career, made songs for you, chanted your names, or celebrated your goals with smoke and flares. But if everything goes according to plan, this won’t be the last time you play in front of supporters like us. This is a taste of things to come.

Active, vocal, visual support is a huge part of football culture around the world, at every level of the game. It is not simply something that you see in top leagues. Indeed the heartbeat of supporter culture is rooted in the love of local people for their local teams and the desire to see local players do well.

We are here because we deeply care about your success. We want to see more local players moving to top university and professional environments and ultimately representing our country. TSS Rovers FC is a club, Canada’s first to be partly owned by supporters, and we all have a role to play in creating an environment for you to excel. Supporters, sponsors, owners, media, family, and community are integral to your success and to the long term success of this enterprise. Canadian soccer has never been stronger, and the opportunities for you have never been brighter.

We are here for you because you are wearing our club’s colours and you are pursuing what we call #TheDream. When you win, we all win with you.  Once you pull on the jersey forevermore we will follow you on your soccer journey as you are #AlwaysARover. And one day, when you get that national team call up and become a #RedRover, a small group of smokey, hoarse fanatics will be your loudest fans. We will never leave you, and we promise you will never forget us.
